Download the AL-D047B0802JR.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the AL-D047B0802JR.EXE file to begin the installation.
Please wait for this utility to extract the installation files and check the computer models.
Several setup boxes will briefly appear during the installation. As the files are installed, these boxes will close automatically.

NOTE: If an "Information" box appears prompting you to reboot to verify the system model, click OK. After the system restarts, please continue with step 5 above.
At the "Setup Complete" screen, click Finish to restart the computer.
After the computer restarts, the installation of the Sony ALPS Pointing Device (Touchpad) Driver and Control Utility is complete.

This utility updates the ALPS® Pointing Device (Touchpad) driver and does the following:

• Enables Sony USB Mouse speed control in the ALPS Mouse Control Utility
  
• For the PCG-R505DSK, PCG-R505ECK, PCG-R505ELK, PCG-R505ESK, PCG-R505GCK and PCG-R505GLK models only, it also resolves the issue where the "Auto Jump" enable setting in the ALPS Control Utility is not saved after restarting computer.
