Baseboard Management Controller (BMC-18) and Hot Swap Controller (HSC-121).
MB440LX Firmware Update Procedure for BMC and HSC
- Disk Preparation
Prepare a clean, blank floppy disks. Label it as MB440LX Firmware Update
Make it DOS 6.22 bootable. Extract the MB440LX Update files onto the disks. - Insert the Disk with MB440LX Firmware Update
Power on your system.
At the a: prompt, type "go_bmc <CR>" and follow the prompts to update your BMC firmware.
This process can take from 10 - 12 minutes. At the completion of the BMC
update, power down your system.
MB440LX HSC Firmware Update
