Instructions:
Download the CODEC143.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the CODEC143.EXE file to begin the installation.
At the "Sony DV Software CODEC Update Utility - Welcome" box, click Continue.
Several setup boxes will appear during the installation. As the files are installed, these boxes will close automatically.
NOTE: If a "Choose Destination Location" screen appears, follow the steps below. If it does not appear, continue with step 5.
At the "Choose Destination Location" screen, click the Browse button.
At the "Choose Folder" box, locate the Premiere 5.1 installation folder and double-click it.
In the Premiere 5.1 installation folder, click the "Settings" folder to highlight it.
Click OK to close the "Choose Folder" box.
At the "Choose Destination Location" screen, click Next to continue.
At the "Setup Complete" screen, click Finish.
