What Does This Do?
This utility will install the Sony® MPEG Realtime Encoder Board driver for the Sony® VAIO® notebooks with the UGP-PRAV1 AV Entertainment Docking Station to resolve the following issues:
The TV application sometimes will not open.
Movies are recorded incorrectly.
The Giga Pocket® application sometimes fails to record content from a non-copyright protected DVD, such as a home-made DVD.
Instructions:
Download the SO-180300802FO04US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double click the SO-180300802FO04US.EXE file to begin the installation.
At the "Sony® MPEG Realtime Encoder Board Driver for Microsoft® Windows® XP" box, click Next.
At the "License Agreement" dialog box, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree".
At the "Finished" box, click Finish, then OK to restart your computer.
After the computer restarts, the installation of the Sony® MPEG Realtime Encoder Board driver is complete.
